Where did Angela start?

In Nashville, where she was born, and in Nolensville, where she grew up. She studied Business Management at Middle Tennessee State University, learning operations, budgeting and planning, then spent about ten years in corporate healthcare operations. That work was systems and service: making a complicated process run on time for the person at the end of it.

How did she get into pools?

In 2023 she moved into pool construction and became VP of Operations for several pool-building companies. For three years she ran project pipelines, scheduling and procurement for many builds at once, and saw what went right and wrong on Middle Tennessee job sites.

Why start Angelic?

To run fewer jobs and stay close to each one. Angelic Hardscapes & Pools opened in 2026 as a woman-owned builder in a trade that rarely sees one, and the way it works follows from that: Angela picks up the phone, she is involved from the first visit to the last walkthrough, and clients hear about timing and changes before they have to ask.

Away from the job site

She is the mother of two sons, goes to every outdoor concert she can, writes songs and is rarely without a good book. Her Nolensville article is set in the town she grew up in.
